Youth Ministry: Grades 6th – 12th
The Vision of Harford Community Church (HCC) is that “we exist to help people experience life change through Jesus Christ so we all become fully devoted followers and difference makers in the Church and world."
The Vision of the HCC Youth Ministry known as J-WALKERS is that of HCC. However, because we are a ministry for students grades 6th - 12th there are some special ways that work to serve our students. Throughout the year student’s experiences are enhanced with going to conferences, doing acts of kindness, retreats, service projects, going to amusement parks, mission’s opportunities, etc.

More about HCC Youth Ministry Small Groups:
What we believe:
Here at HCC we believe every student is an individual each at a different place in his or her life and walk with Jesus. We believe in treating students like young adults rather than older adolescents. We have structured our Student Small Groups around this core belief. Student Small Groups are centered on what you see and hear in the Worship Celebration and teaching during youth. We believe that life change can take place in Small Groups, and the effect can be far-reaching in your spheres of influence. The most important thing that Jesus told us to do is to love the Lord our God…. And to love our neighbor as ourselves.
What are other students saying about small groups?
“It’s a place to connect with others.”
“It’s an opportunity to go deeper with friends and in Jesus.”
“It’s a chance to share in good and bad stuff.”
What makes a small group worth being a part of?
“It is a safe place where I can grow closer to people.”
“I find personal support and helps me to not feel alone.”
“I can trust others and they can trust me.”
“We include as many people as we can so nobody feels excluded.”
