Journey of Hope Bags:
Journey of Hope is a ministry that was formed to share a tangible gift of hope and love for every new Harford County foster child during that first scary week of transition to a new placement. Each child is given a bag filled with age and gender appropriate items (such as toys, comfort blanket, personal care items, diapers, gift cards, stuffed animals, etc.). The idea is to provide each child with some items that they can call their very own. Our hope is to let each child know that they are wonderfully and beautifully made, that they are surrounded by a community that loves them, and to try to restore a sense of hope as they begin this new chapter in their life's journey.
